Meet The Therapists
Dr. Lou Obergh, Founder/Owner
Owner and Director of Advance PT with over 30 years of clinical and teaching experience. Dr. Obergh received his doctorate from Touro College and is currently teaching graduate Exercise Physiology students at Adelphi University.
Dr. Sean Marek, DPT
A Long Island native, Dr. Marek earned his Clinical Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Touro College, where he received awards for academic excellence and clinical research. He is certified in Levels I and II of the Fyzical Balance and Vestibular Course & Examination, and leads the Lindenhurst office.
Trevor Daly, PTA, GTS
Trevor earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences and Physical Therapist Assistant Degree from Suffolk Community College in 2020. A personal trainer since 2019, he emphasizes overall wellness and holds additional certifications in manual therapy techniques. He joined Advance Physical Therapy in 2020 and practices in the Lindenhurst office.
Dr. Michael Banome, DPT
Dr. Banome earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The City College of New York, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the CUNY Honors Program in 2021, and his Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College in 2025. He specializes in sports-related injuries and injury prevention for athletes. He joined Advance Physical Therapy in 2024 and practices in the Lindenhurst office.
Teresa Bianchi, MSPT
Teresa earned her Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from Stony Brook University, followed by a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from Touro University. With over 30 years of clinical experience across pediatric through geriatric populations, she joined Advance Physical Therapy in 2024 and works in the Lindenhurst office.
Diana Anastos, PTA
Diana Anastos, PTA, was born and raised in Astoria, Queens, and earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from LaGuardia Community College in 1999. She has extensive experience treating orthopedic and balance-related conditions, combining manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to reduce pain, improve mobility, and help patients return to the activities they enjoy. Diana Anastos works in our Wantagh office.
Dr. Uzma Rafique, DPT
Dr. Rafique earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre in Karachi, Pakistan, in 2019, and became a licensed Physical Therapist in New York in 2024. She has treated geriatric and pediatric patients across outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and as a traveling physical therapist, and is committed to individualized, evidence-based care. She joined Advance Physical Therapy in 2026 and works in the Wantagh office.
Dr. Jala Gilliam PT, DPT
Dr. Jala Gilliam earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Daemen University in 2022 and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Her clinical experience spans orthopedic, neuromuscular, and pediatric conditions, and she focuses on personalized care tailored to each patient’s recovery. Dr. Gilliam works at our Buffalo office.
